My name is Cheri and I am the proud designer and owner of Creatively Cheri and Embroidery Just 4 U.
My mom is my inspiration. She is a talented seamstress and quilter. I guess you could say I have embroidery and creativity in the threads of my DNA, since I get my talent from her.
I love what I do but it’s all thanks to my mom that I fell in love with this artform. Years ago, she gave me a sewing and embroidery machine as a Christmas gift, hoping, that I would follow in her footsteps. She taught me how to use it and I was hooked. Inevitably, I started making personalized baby and wedding gifts for my friends and family. Soon, I started to get requests for my creations so that I needed a bigger and better machine for my work, and then also added digitizing software to my collection of necessary tools. Once I learned how to use the software, I realized that I could digitize almost anything and embroider it. This expanded my client base to now include coworkers who needed personalized and custom-made items for their families, friends and clients. This expansion of my business and my work allowed me to take one more step towards creating my own business and this is how Embroidery Just 4 U was formed.
After a few years of embroidery, I branched out and purchased my first Cricut machine which opened a new world of creativity and crafting on different mediums. In the fall of that year, utilizing my Cricut, I learned wood burning and glass etching and made my first "Dear Santa" board for a good friend and that led to 81 personalized "Dear Santa" boards before Christmas. My amazing fiancé, Vinnie, watched me make these and thought there has to be an easier way, so he started researching laser and surprised me with my first Boss CO2 Laser. It was a learning curve but it has been fun. We now have two CO2 lasers and two Fiber lasers, as well as a CNC machine (that I still need to learn how to use). My workshop is one of my favorite places to be and has inspired Creatively Cheri.
Designing personalized gifts has become a passion and I look forward to working with you to create that one-of-a-kind gift that will “WOW” the loved ones in your life.

Additionally….
I have other interests and hobbies that I enjoy, like home renovations and kitchen design work, fashioning jewelry, and making chocolates and baking. I have been told my peanut butter meltaway and salted chocolate caramels are to die for.
